Job Summary: This role is in Electrical Maintenance and Assembly with our outstanding production team at Arctic Cool Chillers Limited in Brampton, On, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work safely, be dedicated to performing quality work, and be productive.
- Must be able to perform the task assigned within the electrical area.
- Communicate outside of the team and across shifts.
- Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety and model safe behavior.
- Work with minimum supervision.
- Work scheduled hours including overtime.
- Wire, Diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify electronic controllers, equipment, and wiring problems promptly and effectively.
- Read blueprints and electrical schematics to determine dimensions, design and materials needed for performing duties.
- Install fittings and flexible conduit.
- Pull wire and string wire to locations and components.
- Complete Basic Electrical Assembly work.
- Operate hand tools required for performing job duties.
- Flexibility to work overtime on occasional evenings and weekends
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous electrical experience required
- Experience in HVAC industry preferred
- Licensed 442A or 309A Electrician
- Required knowledge of wiring and reading schematics
Physical Demands:
- Perform medium, repetitive work in a manufacturing environment.
- Standing for at least 8 hours or longer if required. Constantly use hand to finger, grasp, or handle, objects, tools, or controls.
- Frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, bend or stoop.
- Frequently required to lift materials weighing less than 40 pounds.
- Frequently required to push or pull or move components and materials into position.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
